Judi (Versolenko) Bullock (picture here sharing her story at the 2005 Alumni Reunion),  went through surgery for breast cancer in 2002, followed by 7 months of Chemotherapy. Since that time she has been cancer free, but has routine blood tests every 6 months. When she met with her doctor on July 15, 2008, following her latest blood work, the doctor indicated that there was a minor change this time. Upon a physical examination a lump was found. Subsequently she has undergone an ultra sound on the lump (it was determined to be benign) , a bone scan, another CAT scan, followed more blood work on August 5th.
In an email on Wednesday, August 13, 2008, Judi wrote:
"Dear Prayer team:
I just heard from my Oncologist and my blood test was normal this last time!!! Praise God. The bone-scan only showed a little bit of arthritis no cancer. We are rejoicing in the Lord, to finally be thru with all these test. God again has been faithful and has shown me that He healed me once and for all!!!
Also my mother is doing alot better, and is starting to get over this horrible Bronchitius that she has had for two weeks. Keep praying for her
